TFFHastings - Christmas Booking Policy

We want everyone to have a fun and special time with us during the festive period, we will always do our upmost to support any special requests or queries our guests may have so please let us know if any information you need isn’t included below.

 

To comply with the legal requirements please ensure you have read and understand the following terms & conditions relating to Christmas Bookings here at The Forbidden Fruit.

 

From hereon out “we”, “our”, “us” refers to The Forbidden Fruit. “You”, Your”, “Lead Booker”, “Your Group” refers to the booking party and ultimately the responsibility of the main booker who is completing the booking forms.

Making an enquiry / booking:

  1. All bookings must be made via our website booking system: https://tffhastings.co.uk/bookings
  2. Christmas Lunch Bookings will begin as an enquiry to receive a menu copy, bookings are not confirmed until converted from an enquiry to a booking using the link provided when making an enquiry and then deposit paid.
  3. Christmas Lunch bookings will be unavailable on Wednesdays and Sundays as standard. Various “Special Event” dates are unavailable for bookings. The system will notify when an enquiry is made if a chosen date is unavailable.
  4. Available dates for Christmas Lunches are from 1st November 2024 to 31st January 2025.
  5. We may be unable to facilitate small groups (less than 5) on dates where other Christmas Lunch bookings are not present.

Deposits & Payment:

  1. Deposits are £20 per person, This must be paid within 7 days of your enquiry being converted into a booking.
  2. Deposit invoices will be sent via email to the registered email address used when submitting the enquiry.
  3. Failing to pay the required deposit within 7 days from the invoice being issued may result in your booking being cancelled. We will always try to contact you a few times before cancelling your booking.
  4. The remaining balance of £14.95 per person will be payable in the venue on the day of your booking.
  5. The full balance can be paid in advance if you prefer, please contact us to discuss this preference.
  6. Payment methods include: Bank Transfer, Online, Telephone & In Person Payment. Your invoice will details how to use each method.

Pre-order forms:

  1. Pre-Order forms will be sent once confirmation of deposit being paid is received.
  2. Pre-Order forms can be completed electronically with the link sent via sms/email or via printed copy in the document that is sent to your registered email address.
  3. Pre-Order forms must be returned no later than 7 days before your booking date.
  4. If we have not received a pre-order form within the required time we will attempt to contact you to gather these details. If we are unable to contact you then your booking may be cancelled.

Arrival & On the day:

  1. Please ensure your group arrive in time for your booking. We may not be able to delay service for guests who are excessively late.
  2. If your group have not arrived within 30 minutes of your booking time and we have been unable to make contact with the lead booker, we may cancel your booking.
  3. Please don’t damage or remove the table decorations, we put a lot of effort and thought into making each booking special and would hate to add additional charges for any damages. Other groups need decorations too.
  4. Place settings will be provided with each booking, these will detail each guests name and meal choices.
  5. Table service will be provided for all meals and drinks on your booking day.

Allergen & Dietary Information:

  1. It is the main booking contacts responsibility to ensure all allergen and dietary information is presented to us on pre-order forms.

  3. We make every attempt to ensure products are free from allergens as described however meals are prepared in a kitchen where allergens may be present.
  4. Please contact us to discuss any allergen or specific dietary requirements in advance if you are unsure or require additional information.

Refunds:

  1. All deposits are non-refundable in the event that a guest drops out after booking or does not show for the booking.
  2. Deposits will not be refundable in the event of cancellation due to non-return of pre-order forms.
  3. Deposits will not be refundable in the event your booking is cancelled due to excessive late arrival for your booking.
  4. Deposits are refundable at our discretion for natural disasters, booking errors, kitchen issues which are not due to the booking party.
  5. Refunds will not be unreasonably withheld for the points listed in Refunds, Point 2.

After your booking:

  1. We may retain your information for a period of 1 month after your booking, this is purely used to send out thank you messages and request any feedback to help us improve.
  2. After one month all information relating to your booking will be removed from our systems.
